Contributions made to Kenyan Schools of Hope are tax deductible and are used to provide shelter, support, and refuge to girls who are fleeing female genital mutilation and forced early marriage. Your donations will further the ministry of transforming lives and communities to live with enduring hope and new opportunities. For sponsoring a girl, please scroll down.

Sponsorship of rescued girls are needed to provide shelter, food, clothing, and education. Donations may be made either annually or monthly.  The total cost for one girl for one year is $1200 ($100 per month). These funds also support a social worker who helps the girls maintain a relationship with their family and community when possible and provides counseling when needed.

Sponsors will be given the name and age of the girl, her placement in school, progress reports, and written letters, if possible, from the recipient.  Developing a personal relationship with the girl is encouraged, but not required.

Also available are tuition sponsorships or shelter sponsorships for students.  Sponsorships of $600 per year ($50 per month) enables a child to attain either an excellent education or provides lodging and meals.

As the school experiences growth, there may be opportunities for American teachers to serve as a volunteer teacher at the Ewuaso Osiligi School or to participate in teacher exchanges. Other volunteer opportunities may also become available in the future. Additional information will be provided as we reach our goal of building a guest house and the program is developed.

To give a generous donation in honor of a person/business or to provide a dedicated memorial, please contact us and we will provide a list of available building costs and furnishings.
